Keystone Dental Arts kicks-off Keystone vs. Hunger, a food drive campaign to benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank.
Somersworth, NH – Keystone Dental Arts is conducting a food drive to benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank (NHFB). As an official NHFB drop-off location, Keystone Dental Arts is accepting monetary and nonperishable food donations at its 263 Route 108 location in Somersworth, NH. Collection boxes are located in the office and can be made during the normal business hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm on Mondays and from 8:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Friday.
For every item donated during the drive, Keystone will make a $1.00 matching donation to the New Hampshire Food Bank, up to $500.
All nonperishable goods are welcome, and NHFB cites the most needed items as: canned chicken, tuna or salmon, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, canned soup, stew or chili, canned or dried beans, canned nuts, rice and rice mixes, pasta, noodle mixes.
“As a member of the business community, our Keystone Cares team routinely looks for opportunities to serve the community at large and proper nutrition is fundamental to our mission of promoting good oral health,” notes practice manager, Victoria Ingersoll. “In the past, our annual food drive has benefited regional organizations. With statistics showing 1 in 9 individuals in New Hampshire are food insecure, hunger is a reality in every town, not only the area our business serves. By partnering with the New Hampshire Food Bank, we hope to accomplish a greater reach to serve the greater need.”
The Keystone vs. Hunger Food Drive is accepting donations from now until December 15th. Keystone Dental Arts encourages peers in the New Hampshire dental industry to get involved and show unity by using #dentists4NHFB when making donations on the New Hampshire Food Bank website.
