Keystone Cares

For a third year, Keystone Cares chose to support the mission of the Spaulding Raider Station Student Pantry in 2021.

The mission of the Raider Station is to diminish or end food insecurity for the students of Spaulding High School in the most convenient, discreet and easily accessible means possible. The Raider Station aligns itself with additional services and resources available in the community to promote the overall well-being of students.

With your help in 2021, we collected boxes of food, personal care items, and we even fulfilled some extraordinary clothing needs the pantry had this year. We also collected $371 in monetary donations, which as is traditional, Dr. Roberts matched for a total of $742 in monies for organizers at Spaulding to meet additional needs.

Your donations to our Keystone vs Hunger campaign aids the Spaulding Raider Station Student Pantry in providing food & personal care products to students in need to take home for overnight, weekend & school vacations.

It’s difficult to imagine facing even a day without a proper meal. These young students deserve some security and dignity, to face extended periods away from school with some nourishment and basic personal care items.

We’re so grateful for your help to give that to them this year. Thank you!

In the past, Keystone vs Hunger donations have benefitted Gerry’s Food Pantry, The New Hampshire Food Bank, Strafford County Community Action and Seeds of Faith.

More Events & Programs

Do Something PAWSitive

We’re proud to have been able to support the work our friends at Pope Memorial Humane Society Cocheco Valley do for our community. With the help of our patients, staff and friends, we’ve helped in the past with an Adopt-A-Thon, supply needs and fundraising. Our Do Something PAWSitive campaign also helped to raise money to fund new dental equipment for the CVHS surgical suite – because animals need a healthy smile too!

Pope Memorial Humane Society is dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of animals in Strafford County, NH and Southern Maine, providing a safe, temporary home for more than 1,000 surrendered, lost, abused, neglected, or unwanted animals each year.

Hilltop Hustle

In addition to being a Gold Sponsor of the Hilltop Hustle 5k Road Race & Fitness Walk for more than five years, our Keystone Cares team has also participated in the race.

Organized by the PTAs of Maple Wood, Idlehurst, and Somersworth Middle School, the Hilltop Hustle is a 5k Road Race and Fitness Walk that takes place in June each year, through the residential areas of Somersworth, NH.

Keystone Dental Arts is proud to have supported this wonderful community event for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, where proceeds go to Parent Teacher Associations for Somersworth schools.

Chamber Golf Tournament

We’re proud to be a member and regular supporter of the work of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and a repeat Hole Sponsor of their Annual Golf Tournament.

Love For Our Troops

We always keep veteran and active members of our troops close at heart. When we learned about the Valentine’s For The Troops project coordinated by the amazing folks at the Pease Greeters, we knew we wanted to get involved. Each year they ship 5,000+ Valentine cards with messages of love and appreciation to our troops, collected through the participation of schools, greeters, and local companies.

For almost an entire year, we invited patients to use the creation station in our lobby to write thank you cards or send encouraging words to our troops. We collected more than one hundred wonderful cards, filled with love and good sentiment from New Hampshire for the Valentine project. We also made a monetary donation in support of the admirable work of the Pease Greeters.

Keystone Dental Arts is proud to have been a Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Champion, where graduating seniors in high school who are either employed by or have a parent employed by a company that is a member of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, are eligible to apply for a $500 scholarship.

Tri-City Christian Academy Annual Auction

Keystone Dental Arts has been a proud sponsor of the Tri-City Christian Academy Annual Auction.

Established in 1985, Tri-City Christian Academy is located here in Somersworth, NH and we are pleased to have helped them toward their goal of improving their campuses.

Dental Health Month

As a past presenting sponsor of Dental Health Month at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, The Keystone Cares team and our Keystone Kids Club mascot, Ribbit, spent a day hosting fun and oral health education at the museum in Dover, NH.

We are especially grateful to our hygienist, Cindy and our receptionists, Diane and Maureen, who helped to make our day extra special.

Adopt-A-Highway

Keystone Dental Arts has been a sponsor of the NHDOT Adopt-A-Highway program, committed to making our highways cleaner and more attractive and at the same time control the growing cost of litter removal. Our work as a prior sponsor served to beautify and keep clean a stretch of our very own Route 108 in Somersworth.

Having practiced in the Tri-City area for 40 years+, we believe in giving back to the community that has given us so much, and Keystone Dental Arts is always looking for ways to make a difference.

We often invite the help of our patients in community giving and they are always quick to pitch in. We appreciate the contributions they make in our charitable efforts.

Throughout the year, we also celebrate random Patient Appreciation Days, where we surprise visiting patients with a small token of our appreciation. Whenever possible, we source items that are produced locally (many times by other patients), such as a basket of fresh apples, jar honey or BBQ rub!
