Making Spirits and Smiles Bright!

In the spirit of the holiday season, Keystone Dental Arts hosted a Dentistry From The Heart event on Friday, November 21st.

It was a day unlike any other at Keystone Dental Arts. Dr. Robert Christian and the staff hosted our first annual Dentistry From The Heart event. Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) is a worldwide nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free dental care to those in need. Every year, thousands of individual dentists, hygienists, volunteers, and hundreds of practices across the world donate their time and resources to host their own DFTH events.

When Dr. Christian and the staff learned of this organization, Practice Manager Victoria Ingersoll said, “We didn’t think twice about hosting an event. Having practiced in the tri-city area for over 30 years, we believe in giving back to the community that has given us so much. What better way than to apply our expertise to help those in need and promote our professional mission of good oral health.”

To accommodate the day, regular business at the practice was suspended to clear the staff schedule. With the combined efforts of the Doctor, assistants, hygienists and office personnel, dozens of patients in need were provided with dental care at no cost. Aroma Joe’s provided free coffee to staff and visitors.

The dental staff performed thousands of dollars worth of dentistry on dozens of patients throughout the course of the day. Plans are already in motion to make this an annual event.
