Our practice

Keystone Dental Arts in Somersworth NH. We provide service to Rochester, NH 03866 and the surrounding area.

Keystone Dental Arts is a patient-centered practice. Dr. Christian and our staff take care to be respectful, mindful and responsive to individual patient preferences and needs to ensure that patient values guide all clinical decisions.

We offer adult & child general dentistry services with specialization in restorative & cosmetic dentistry: bonding, bridges, crowns, dentures, Invisalign®, dental implants, veneers, & teeth whitening.

Directions

From the Spaulding Turnpike (Route 16) North or South, take Somersworth, NH Exit 9 and turn right of the ramp to merge onto Indian Brook Rd. Follow Indian Brook Rd (approx. 03 mi) to Route 108. At light, turn left onto Route 108 toward Rochester; Keystone Dental Arts is 2.4 miles North on Route 108. Our building is on the right.

Dr. Ian Roberts

Dr. Ian Roberts received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2013, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Colorado in 2017. He is a member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity-Beta Iota, and the CUSODM Business Study Club. Dr. Roberts also participated in Advanced Clinical Training and Service at the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine, with rotations at Salud Frederick, Salud Longmont, Denver Health Westside, and the Coalition for the Homeless Stout/Champa.

Dr. Roberts was born in Nashua, NH and later moved to Ashby, MA where he spent most of his childhood. From 1999-2002, he served our country in the United States Marine Corps. After marrying, he relocated to Colorado to attend graduate school. During his time there, he and his wife Carissa welcomed a son, Ben, and he was employed as an instructor in Organic Chemistry at the University of Northern Colorado, where he also served as research assistant in the Virology lab.

In 2017, Dr. Roberts moved his family back to the area, a return to his New Hampshire roots, and joined our practice as Dr. Christian’s associate. His specialized clinical training not only brings in-house endodontic capabilities to the patients of Keystone Dental Arts, but his life experiences have also well prepared him to appreciate our patient-centered philosophy, to naturally build rapport and respect the individual needs of people of many ages, cultures and backgrounds.

In 2018, the Roberts family grew with the arrival of a baby girl, Zoe, and they are all now settled into a new home. An avid outdoors man, Dr. Roberts enjoys running, skiing, fishing, hiking, cooking, road/mountain cycling and motorcycling in his spare time.

Doctor Robert Christian

Dr. Robert Christian

Dr. Robert Christian received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from Temple University in 1976. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the New Hampshire Dental Society. A long-time member and past-president of the Great Bay Dental Studies Group, he is also a member of the Seacoast Implant Dental Study Club and the Spear Dental Study Club. Dr. Christian has attended over 3,000 hours of continuing education courses over his career, concentrating on cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry.

After working for 25 years in Rochester, NH, Dr. Christian moved his practice to his present location in Somersworth in 2001. Dr. Christian lives with his wife, Diane, in Rochester. In his spare time, he and Diane enjoy gardening and swimming in their backyard pool. Dr. Christian also enjoys golf, running and reading.
